It was a long journey from the farm to the fortress. As you walk through the corridors, they're as cold as death itself, with their pale stone walls and lifeless lights. Inescapable shadows lurk everywhere, but there is no cell in sight – you've been thrown into this dark and deserted place without any clues on how to escape. It's not just your destination that gives Little Nightmares its ominous feel – it's also its soundscape and atmosphere which makes it one of the most immersive horror games ever written for a video game system. Little Nightmares has become one of my favorite games after only 3 hours of playtime. The atmosphere and the story of the game is great. I was afraid something might happen when I was crossing a certain part in the game, but nothing happened. Little Nightmares is a fantastic adventure game with stunning visuals and outstanding music and voice acting. The story and atmosphere will keep you in the game longer than most games do. The game is different from most of the games that I have played before. You go through a series of dark corridors that are constantly changing, and you do this over and over again until you get to your destination at the end. The graphics may seem a bit strange at first but they really grow on you as the game progresses. After playing for a little while, I found myself growing fond of the gameplay, wanting to see how it would turn out. The story is unique and will keep you interested in the game. The only problem that I had with it was when I was at the end of the game and I found out how to get the keys and beat the boss. But this is a minor problem in an otherwise great game. By: Logan Bakes When playing a horror game, you expect to be able to fight back; however, when making your way through The Hideaway, you learn there isn't much of a way to save yourself. Every time you choose to save, Little Nightmares will just immediately continue on with your adventure until you completely lose all of your health and die. This makes every decision that much more important as each step could be your last one. The sound effects in the game are quite good, the music is also very good. The voice acting is also very well done, but could have been a little better. Overall it's a simple story about a child who goes to a desolate farm and must escape from a monster. It's a great introduction to horror games for people who normally don't play them.
